Serving Oakville
Landscaping for Oakville properties, from planting to patios.
Oakville has some of the oldest and best-protected trees in the GTA, plus lakeside lots and newer family neighbourhoods. We design around what is already growing, and we are careful with the root zones of the trees that make these streets.

Built for Oakville yards
Local conditions decide what thrives. Here is what we plan around on every Oakville job.
Protected mature trees
Large older trees are part of what makes Oakville streets, and the Town has rules for them. We design around existing trees and protect their roots during construction.
Lakeshore wind and salt spray
Close to the lake, wind and winter spray stress evergreens and tender plants. We choose tougher species and plant windbreaks where they help.
Creek and ravine lots
Lots near Sixteen Mile Creek and other valleys have slopes and wet pockets. We favour deep-rooted native planting and terraces that hold the soil.
Formal, high-expectation gardens
Many Oakville properties are meant to look polished all year. We build structure with clipped hedges, evergreens and stone, then add seasonal colour on top.

Large mature lots, heritage homes and formal gardens that need careful tree protection.
Bronte
Lakeside and harbour-area lots with wind exposure and compact, character homes.
Glen Abbey
Established family neighbourhood with creek and ravine edges, and mature planting.
River Oaks
Family streets where patios, fire pits and easy-care lawns are most requested.
What we do here
Courtyard garden with a stone path
A narrow side yard became a quiet garden room. We kept the existing trees, laid a winding path and layered shrubs and perennials so something is in bloom from May to October.
Fire pit patio
A backyard patio built around a fire pit, with room for six chairs and a grass edge that is easy to mow. The base is compacted and graded so water runs away from the house.
What Oakville clients say
The new patio is exactly what we wanted. They helped us pick the stone and explained the base work.
New sod went in quickly and the lawn took well. They told us exactly how to water it.
They worked around our old oaks and the garden looks like it has always been there.

Can you build near a large protected tree?
Often, yes. We lay out the work to keep the root zone clear, and we tell you if a permit or an arborist is needed.
What plants handle wind near the lake?
Hardy shrubs, ornamental grasses and tough evergreens do well. We choose based on how exposed your lot is.
Can the work be done in stages?
Yes. We can phase a design over a few seasons so the garden comes together as your budget allows.
