Built for Mississauga yards
Local conditions decide what thrives. Here is what we plan around on every Mississauga job.
Heavy clay soil
Much of the city has dense clay that holds water and compacts. We amend beds, aerate lawns and build proper base and drainage under patios so they do not heave.
Lakeshore exposure
Near the lake, wind off Lake Ontario dries out plants and hedges. We choose hardy, wind-tolerant species and use windbreak plantings where needed.
Mature tree canopy
Older streets in Streetsville and Clarkson have big maples and oaks. We design shade gardens that work under them and protect root zones during construction.
Road salt and freeze-thaw
Winters are hard on boulevard lawns and stone. We use salt-tolerant grass mixes near the curb and frost-rated pavers on driveways and walkways.

Permits & local rules
Some work needs sign-off from the municipality or another authority. These are general pointers for Mississauga; the official pages below are the source, and rules change.
Tree removal
Mississauga requires a permit to remove or injure trees above a set size on private property. We check before any cutting, and you can read the rules on the City's tree permit page.

Widening a driveway is governed by the City's zoning rules, and a new curb cut at the street needs the City's approval. Check the City's page before you pave.

Ontario law requires a locate request before most digging. It is free through Ontario Dig Authority (formerly Ontario One Call), and we book it before we dig.

Do you charge for quotes in Mississauga?
No. On-site visits and written estimates are free.
How soon can you start?
Lawn care and cleanups usually start sooner than design and hardscape projects, which book further out in peak season. Ask for current timing when you request a quote.
Will a patio work on clay soil?
Yes, with the right base. We excavate deeper, add compacted granular base and plan drainage so the surface stays level through freeze-thaw.
Do you offer seasonal lawn programmes?
Yes. Programmes can combine mowing, aeration, overseeding and fertilizing, and you can pick only what you need.
