Terms of Service

The rules of how we work together.

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. What WebFoundry provides

WebFoundry designs, builds, and hosts a professional business website for you. The build is free; you pay a monthly fee for hosting, maintenance, content updates, and ongoing SEO once your site is live and you've approved it.

2. Trial and billing

  • You select a plan and provide a payment method on signup.
  • We build the mockup within 7 days. You review, request changes, and approve.
  • You get a 14-day free trial after the site goes live. We don't charge until day 14.
  • Plans renew monthly. Plus 13% HST for Canadian customers.
  • Cancel anytime in the customer portal — no long-term contracts.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information.
  • Keep your payment method up to date.
  • Don't use the site for illegal content or activities.

4. Content ownership

You own all the content (text, images, logos) you provide. You grant WebFoundry a license to publish that content on your site. WebFoundry retains the rights to its template designs and underlying code.

5. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. We can't guarantee zero downtime — outages can happen due to provider issues, DNS, or maintenance. If we cause an extended outage we'll credit your account.

6. Cancellation and data

You can cancel anytime. After cancellation we keep your site online for 30 days, then we delete your data. You can request an export of your content during this window.

7. Liability

WebFoundry's total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
