Who we are
WebFoundry is a Canadian-owned web agency based in Ontario. We design, build, and host websites for trades businesses. This policy explains what data we collect when you use webfoundry.ca, when you submit our forms, or when we host your business website.
What we collect
- Contact information you submit — name, email, phone, business name, business details — when you fill out our get-started or contact forms.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Anonymous usage analytics — page views, referrers, browser type — to improve the site.
- Cookies — for essential site functionality (session, CSRF) and basic analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and build your website.
- To send you account and billing emails (you can opt out of marketing emails any time).
- To improve our service. We never sell your data to third parties.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on secured servers in Canada. Backups are encrypted and rotated. We use the following sub-processors: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (DNS + CDN), DigitalOcean (hosting).
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and notify existing customers by email.
