Knob-and-tube replacement

A heritage home still had its original knob-and-tube wiring. We replaced it room by room so the family could stay in the house, and opened up as little plaster as we could.

What we did

• Mapped the old circuits and made a plan
• Replaced wiring one floor at a time
• Added grounded outlets and a new panel
• Coordinated the inspection
